The Children of Armenia Fund (COAF) joins SAP’s University Alliance partnership program, to bring the latest SAP teaching and learning and blockchain technologies to students in Armenia. Through COAF programs, students will gain access to SAP’s instructional resources in virtual reality design, iOS application development, blockchain and other subjects that prepare students for careers in technology industries.
COAF will incorporate SAP educational tools into its existing SMART Rooms, technology Lab at the COAF’s first SMART Center, located in Lori, opening in May 2018. The Lori SMART Center will be accessible to about 150,000 people living in the region, making the latest educational resources for the digital future from SAP available to young Armenians and their communities.
A market leader in corporate software, SAP is committed to giving back to the communities it serves, and equip the world’s youth with skills to tackle the challenges of a globalized society. COAF shares this vision of empowering students, by providing access to the most advanced educational resources to Armenia’s village youth.
“Together with SAP, we want to drive innovation beyond its limits,” – said COAF Founder and Chairman Garo Armen. “Bringing SAP’s Leonardo resources and Next-Gen communities to students in Armenia will make this goal a reality. The passion and intellectual capital that SAP brings to COAF programs is unparalleled, and through this partnership we will tap into the high, and as yet untapped potential of youth who are eager to learn and build a new Armenia.”
The partnership was announced during SAP’s 21st Academic Conference, held at SAP Next-Gen in Hudson Yards, New York City from April 9 to 12, 2018.
