Children of Armenia Fund (COAF) works to secure a future for children in Armenia's impoverished rural villages through improved education, healthcare, community life and economic conditions. Our programs create and sustain opportunities for growth and progress.
Founded in 2000, COAF launched its own ground operations in 2004, expanding to a cluster of 6 villages by 2006. Over the course of our history, our model has expanded and evolved to meet the needs of more than 28,000 people.
COAF's development headquarters is in New York City, and the staff in Yerevan, Armenia work on the ground implementing all programs. Staff listings for both offices can be found here.
Our Board of Directors work closely with the staff to guide decision making and ensure accountability.
By working with partners and creating alliances with other organizations, COAF is able to to efficiently utilize its funds and maximize our impact on rural Armenian communities.
