Paul Kaloustian, Garo Armen, Tony Shafrazi at COAF's 2015 Summer Soiree

COAF is fortunate to have the design expertise of architect Paul Kaloustian leading our SMART Center construction (pictured left, above with Garo Armen, center and Tony Shafrazi, right).  Paul studied architecture at A.L.B.A (Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts) and received his masters degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. He worked at Herzog and de Meuron in Basel before opening his office in Beirut. Paul also has taught at the Boston Architecture Center and at the American University of Beirut. He received the Moukbel Award and the Order of Engineers and Architects Award, and his project “House In a Forest,” which was on view at the 2012 Venice Biennale, won honorable mention in the Young Arab Architects Competition.
