Civic education and good governance

To promote good governance and active civic participation in the cluster, COAF will encourage active citizen participation at the grassroots level, including civic activism among the young population. COAF will provide technical assistance to advocacy nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) to obtain core funding and advocacy grants. The Model Cluster program will also provide training to local municipalities with the goal of improving their technical and managerial capacities, encouraging community participation in local decision-making processes, and good governance practices by municipality staff.
