Improving the lives of physically disabled children

COAF protects children’s rights by providing funding for the activities of the association and improving standards for treating children with special needs. Among the projects sponsored by COAF are a) activities encouraging children to participate in the Olympic Games for the Disabled, b) vocational training for children with special needs, including embroidery, sewing and various crafts, and c) prosthetic sponsorship.

The PYUNIC Armenian Association for the Disabled was established in the immediate aftermath of the 1988 earthquake in Armenia with the objective to provide rehabilitation to physically disadvantaged children.
