 COAF has undertaken a comprehensive program designed to improve the quality of education in the communities of rural Armenia and empower students to be active participants in their own education.

 Due to COAF’s interventions, village health clinics now have sufficient medical equipment and supplies, and benefit from continuing medical education as well as supportive supervision of the local staff conducted by the COAF physician.

 Social workers ensure that individual villagers and groups are aware of their rights and of the resources available to them through the state welfare system.

 Through close collaboration with all stake-holders, open and respectful communication, inter-village networking and the establishment of self-sustaining public services, COAF is able to initiate and sustain lasting change for Armenia’s children.

 Our economic development programs are geared toward increasing each community’s skill base and technical know-how through practical hands-on vocational and business training.

 COAF staff and leadership closely manage all infrastructure projects, ensuring only the highest quality of work and materials by forming relationships with trusted and benevolent contractors.
