 COAF has undertaken a program designed to improve the quality of education in the communities of rural Armenia and empower students to be active participants in their own education.

 Due to COAF’s work, village health clinics now have sufficient medical equipment and supplies, and benefit from continuing medical education as well as supportive supervision of the local staff conducted by the COAF physician.

 Social workers ensure that individual villagers and groups are aware of their rights and of the resources available to them through the state welfare system.

 Our economic development programs are geared toward increasing each community’s skill base and technical know-how through practical hands-on vocational and business training.
